What we keep, why, and for how long.

WHAT WE COLLECT: The name you type for the seal, your email, a delivery address and phone number for the carrier, and a payment record. Card details go to Stripe; we never see the number.
THE NAME: It is carved, and kept in your order record so we can re-carve under the guarantee. It is never shown publicly. The Journal archive shows a completed seal only with the owner's written permission.
HOW LONG: Order records for seven years, as tax law requires. The approved seal vector for ten years, the length of the face guarantee.
WHO ELSE SEES IT: The carrier, for delivery. The payment processor, for the payment. No advertising networks, no resale of data.
COOKIES: Only what the cart and the language setting need. No tracking cookies.
YOUR RIGHTS: Ask to see, correct or delete what we hold: hello@hanko.works. We answer within one business day.
