When it ships, how it ships, and until when you can change your mind.

- CARVING TIME
- Carving starts once the order is confirmed: every face approved, and the payment in (for an invoice order, once we have accepted it). Aluminium ships 5 days later, titanium 8; an order with both ships together, on the titanium date. These are calendar days, and a dispatch day that falls on a Sunday or a public holiday moves to the next day. Company orders we quote by hand get their date in the quote.
- WITHIN JAPAN
- Free. Yamato Transport, one to two days after dispatch. You can choose a later delivery date at checkout.
- OUTSIDE JAPAN
- Not yet. We ship within Japan only, for now. A gift link can be opened anywhere; the seal ships once there is an address in Japan to send it to.
- CANCELLATION
- You can cancel free of charge, from your order page or through the contact form, until the seal enters the carving queue — 24 hours after the order is confirmed — and we refund the full amount. After that it is cut to your name and cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged for a change of mind. A konbini or bank-transfer order not paid within three days is cancelled automatically, with nothing to pay.
- DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR NOT AS APPROVED
- If the seal arrives damaged, defective or different from the face you approved, tell us through the contact form within seven days of arrival. We reply within one business day and ask for photos of the parcel and the seal; then we remake it or refund it, at our cost.
- GIFTS
- A gift card is printed and posted by Japan Post within two business days of payment; a gift link is emailed once the payment is confirmed. The credit is valid for twelve months from purchase; we email the giver a reminder at nine months and again at eleven, and if it is still unredeemed at twelve, tell us and we extend it. Until the card is posted or the link is opened, the giver can cancel it for a full refund.
