Four steps. None of them skipped.
01 · COMPOSED
The engine lays out your characters eight ways. You approve the exact vector; that vector is what gets cut. A seal off the rack shares its face with thousands of others; yours is laid out for your name.
02 · CUT
Machined from one solid rod; aluminium ships five days after your order is confirmed, titanium eight. The face is milled to a 0.6 mm relief; the rim is left whole so the impression closes. Titanium is denser and slower to cut, which is the whole of the price difference.
03 · FINISHED
Deburred, the rim checked under a loupe, and a test impression checked against the face you approved — an unbroken rim, no hairlines that will wear. If a face fails here it is cut again, not shipped.
04 · SHIPPED
Yamato, one to two days after dispatch.
